About Sowers Action Nepal

Sowers Action Nepal is a registered non-profit based in Gokarneshwor, Kathmandu. We work in education, health, community development and disaster relief, reaching more than 8,000 people directly across 16+ districts.

How we work

• Non-profit, non-political, non-religious. Our help is open to everyone who needs it.
• Transparent. Accounts are audited every year and published on our finance page.
• Community-centred. We build around what communities tell us they need, and stay for the long term.
• Accountable. Registered with the Social Welfare Council, Reg. No. 53507.

Our home

Our head office in Gokarneshwor houses our headquarters, a community library, language classes and a social enterprise café. It was generously donated by our patron, Winnie Lam. A planned expansion on the same site will become the Winnie Lam Library, a five-floor library and community centre.
